Our daily grind can make hours and hours easily pass as we rush from one must or honey-do to another.

Surprisingly doing something as simple as taking a break to stop, rest your mind, and manage your stressors can net a better and more balanced response to the events of the day.

Even with a triple-booked, Tetris-stacked-looking calendar can allow for a 10-minute stress management break.

This quick reset could be as simple as stepping away from your e-mail, sipping a cup of coffee away from your desk (without the phone), taking some deep breaths, or going for a quick lap outside to get some fresh air and movement.

When you return to your task, you’ll have a clearer head and a fresher mind.
