End The Streak, 22 Years Since Last Deathless Day

Natural disasters and public events have the ability to take lives, and cannot often be controlled.

But one thing that can be controlled is our driving habits, and since 2000, more than 79,000 people have lost their lives on Texas roadways.

The last deathless day on texas roadways was November 7th, 2000.

Saving these lives can be as simple as taking responsibility when getting behind the wheel, including following road signs, keeping your phone down or out of reach, and finding another ride if you have had a drink or other impairing substance.

For information or to show your support, look at the Texas Department of Transportation website, and use #EndTheStreakTX.
