Elaine Hays Gets Two More Year On Amarillo City Council

Elaine Hays earned over 10 thousand votes in her run to keep Amarillo City Council seat 1.

Hays beat out Jay Kirkman, Hayden Pedigo and Richard Herman who got 1500 votes even though he pulled out of the race a month earlier.

Elaine talked about the importance of the council seats not changing hands and what she will work on in the coming term.

Hays spearheaded the “Buy Local” campaign to encourage spending with local businesses.
