Drive By Shooting Puts Two In The Hospital

Two people were hospitalized after a shooting early Friday morning.

The Amarillo Police Department was called to Amarillo Boulevard and Columbine Street on the report of shots being fired.

Ounce officers arrived they discovered a man and woman with gunshot wounds.

The victims said that a black Ford Expedition or Explorer drove by and opened fire on them.

Authorities believe the shooting took place near the 1600 block of Bluebell Street.

The shooting remains under investigation.
