DPS Takes 31 Pounds Of Meth Off The Streets

The Texas Department Of Public Safety continues its “War On Drugs” after a traffic stop netted 31 pounds of methamphetamine.

On Wednesday, June 5th a trooper stopped a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado traveling east on I-40 near Conway for a traffic violation.

Law Enforcement discovered multiple plastic-wrapped bundles of methamphetamine in a spare tire.

Drug Enforcement Administration agents were called to assist with the investigation.

53-year-old Gerardo Fonseca-Macias of Pixley, California, was arrested and booked into the Randall County Jail for felony possession of a controlled substance.

The drugs were reportedly being taken from California to Kentucky.
