DPS Ceremony Of Resolution And Flag Presentation
On Thursday, January 3rd, the Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas State Representative Four Price held a ceremony of resolution and flag presentation for two DPS Troopers.
Travis High and Briar Cordova, who recently received life-saving awards, were the two honored. DPS Command Staff also recognized two citizens who aided in Cordova’s save.
In December 2017, Trooper Travis High saved a man by acting quickly and stopping profuse bleeding. Also, in mid-2018, Trooper Briar Cordova saved a woman from jumping off a bridge at I-40, with the help of two citizens.
