Domestic Violence Summit Coming This October

The Domestic Violence Faith Community Summit will be on Thursday, October 6th from 8:30 am to 4 pm. 

It will take place at Power Church at 1344 SE 10th Avenue, and will bring communities together to create change in how we look at domestic violence and spark the conversations for change. 

The Event is being put on by the Amarillo Potter Randal Domestic Violence Coalition.

Kay Pechin shared the importance of involving the religious community in the domestic violence conversation. 

Robert Love also made comments on the importance of a community for understanding how to react when people speak up.
