I had the chance to be on vacation in Colorado a couple of weeks ago, and unplugged completely. I guess that means I must not be wealthy (TRUE). Check out the results of a new survey about the apparent correlation between money and vacation.
According to a new survey from LinkedIn, the more money you make, the harder it is to detach from work — especially if you’re on vacation.
While on vacation, 83% of workers who make between $160,000 and $180,000 stepped away from the fun more than once to receive a phone call or take care of an email, That number jumped to 92% for those making $180,000 to $200,000.
On the other hand, 61% of people earning under $25,000 say they never deal with phone calls or emails on vacation. (Yahoo Finance)
