Dean Case Goes To Jury

Closing arguments were given Thursday in the trial of Timothy Dean, the former Sunray Police Chief accused of killing a young couple in Sodus New York.

Dean is accused of shooting to death Joshua Niles and Amber Washburn last October over a custody dispute between Dean’s wife Charlene Childers after Niles was granted custody of her kids.

Childers and former Sunray police officer Bron Bohlar, testified against Dean in exchange for lighter sentences for their roles in the double homicide.

Jurors will return to court Friday morning to begin deliberations.
