Deaf Smith County SO Seeking Monday Murder Suspect

The Deaf Smith County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man they say shot another man during a confrontation early Monday morning.

The Deaf Smith County SO says a fight occurred, which led to one of the combatants grabbing a firearm from his truck.

65-year-old Jesus Barerra Conzalez then started shooting at the other person, who died at the scene.

Gonzalez took off in a tan Ford Ranger. He is considered armed. If you come in contact with him or know of his whereabouts, you are asked to call law enforcement. In Deaf Smith County, that number would be 806-344-2583.

The Deaf Smith County Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for the arrest and apprehension of Gonzalez.
