DEA Arrest Suspect on Federal Drug, Firearm Charges

The Drug Enforcement Agency carried out a series of search warrants May 10th where they discovered several firearms and large amounts of drugs.

The agency, along with the Potter County Sheriff’s Office SRT team, the Randall County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team and the Amarillo Police Department Narcotics Unit, searched two Potter County homes where they found the illegal items.

Law enforcement reported there were 7.7 pounds of methamphetamines and one pound of cocaine, along with items consistent with the sale of drugs.

One individual was booked on federal gun and drug charges.
