Dalhart Man Transported To Lubbock After Explosion

Emergency responders rush to the scene of an emergency.
One person in Dalhart has been transported to Lubbock after an explosion.
First responders responded to the 1100 block of Highway 87 around 11am where the Fire Marshal says the man was cutting the top off an oil barrel when the explosion happened.
Officials say the man sustained burn from the incident.
