(Dallas, TX) — Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott stands by his comments on the national anthem. Some have criticized Prescott’s stance on the anthem. He said last week that he plans to stand and doesn’t believe kneeling creates solutions. Over the weekend a Dallas area-artist painted a mural of Prescott in the sunken place, which references the 2017 movie “Get Out.” The mural is at the Fabrication Yard in the Trinity Groves area.

Former UTSA Player Trying To Make It Onto Cowboys Roster
(Oxnard, CA) — A San Antonio native who was a standout at UTSA is trying to get onto the Dallas Cowboys’ roster as quarterback. Dalton Sturm was a walk-on at UTSA, where he played in 35 games. Sturm threw for over 57-hundred yards and tossed 49 touchdown passes. He also scored seven rushing touchdowns while racking up more than 12-hundred yards on the ground. Sturm is trying to join the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent, which is how Tony Romo got on board.
