Crime Stoppers Searching For JC Penney’s Robbery Suspect

Amarillo Crime Stoppers is looking to identify a robbery suspect.
On Thursday, January 28th, Amarillo Police Officers responded to a robbery at JC Penney’s at 7701 I-40W where employees were waiting for a few customers to finish making their purchase and leave.
That’s when employees say a tall Hispanic male attempted to flee the store with items he did not pay for.
The suspect found that the store’s doors were locked and he was unable to leave. He then assaulted an employee to get the keys to the store and was then able to leave the store.
