Crash And Fire Claim Life

One person has died after a vehicle crash on East Amarillo Boulevard and English Road Saturday morning.
At 9:31 a.m., officers were called to a crash on East Amarillo Boulevard.
Police say a Subaru Crosstrek was seen traveling eastbound on Amarillo Boulevard at a high rate of speed.
The driver left the roadway and struck a fence, a gas line, and a building on the south side of the road
APD says the SUV caught fire with the driver trapped inside where they died on the scene.
The crash is being handled by the Amarillo Police Department Traffic Investigation Unit.
