(Frisco, TX) — The Dallas Cowboys are cutting ties with former-first round pick Taco Charlton. Dallas released the disgruntled defensive end Wednesday, days after he posted and deleted “Free Me” on Twitter. Charlton has been inactive for the first two games, despite being healthy. Charlton was the 28th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, but has just four sacks in 27 career games. He’s due nearly two-million-dollars in guaranteed money by Dallas, but if he’s claimed by another team the Cowboys won’t have to pay. The 2-and-0 Cowboys host the winless Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
