Covid-19 Vaccine Coming To Amarillo Tuesday

Amarillo will be seeing the first round of Covid-19 vaccines starting Tuesday.

In a press conference held by the City of Amarillo, Mayor Ginger Nelson said the City will be seeing 975 vaccines coming to the Texas Tech University Health Science Center and will be distributed equally between Northwest Texas Hospital and BSA.

Once in hand, Hospital staff can start giving the vaccine to their staff.

There is also a 2nd round of vaccine shipments anticipated in the coming days.

The Mayor also stated that this information could change at any minute depending on the state.
