Councilman Howard Smith Seeking ReElection

Councilman Howard Smith announced Thursday he would be seeking re-election in the May 2021 Election.

Councilman Smith said there is more than needs to be done and that he would be running on 3 different key issues including listening to citizens, enhancing economic development and increasing resources for public safety.

Smith also said that the councilmembers need to listen to the citizens of Amarillo on the future of the Civic Center.

When asked why the citizens of Amarillo should vote for him for a 3rd term he said he has lived in Amarillo for a long time, he loves Amarillo and he will do what’s best for Amarillo.
