Congressman Jackson Assesses Trump’s Injury
Congressman Ronny Jackson issued an update on ex-President Donald Trump’s health after the recent assassination attempt.
Jackson says he reviewed President Trump’s medical records from Butler Memorial Hospital where he was initially evaluated and treated for a “gunshot wound to the right ear.”
Jackson says he has treated many gunshot wounds in his career, and he agrees with the assessment and treatment provided on the day of the shooting.
The statement from Jackson continues, saying, “During the Congressional Hearing two days ago, FBI Director Christopher Wray suggested that it could be a bullet, shrapnel, or glass.” Jackson added there is no evidence that it was anything other than a bullet.
Jackson says Congress should correct the record.
He says he wants to reassure the American people and the rest of the world that Trump is doing extremely well and recovering from the wound.
