Confirmed Animal Attack

The Texas Rangers are joining an investigation into a confirmed animal attack on a McLean woman from over the weekend.

Law enforcement officials say on October 29, Gray County officials Were called to the area of Heasley and Kingsley in McLean about a dead body found.

Officials say the woman had been stabbed and has been identified as Kimberly Dawn Morris. The woman’s body has been sent to Lubbock for an autopsy, and it revealed the death by an animal attack.

The scene was investigated by the Texas Rangers and the Gray County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriffs officials say there are currently no known witnesses to the attack or what animals were involved.
