Nike is choosing former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick as the new face of its “Just Do It” campaign. Kaepernick tweeted a photo of himself with the slogan “Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything.” Nike is celebrating the 30th anniversary of its “Just Do It” slogan. Kaepernick, who was the first player to kneel during the national anthem in protest against racism, is currently not playing in the NFL. He’s suing the league on accusations that teams are colluding to keep him off the field. (Story courtesy of Metro Neworks).

Hell yes. This is a disgrace to all the Americans that have given their lives for this A–holes freedoms!! This family of 5 is done with not only NFL but NIKE TOO!
I quit buying nike products a while ago because I just didn’t feel like the quality was there for the price. This just gives me another reason to avoid the brand.
Yes! The Nike products I have are going in the trash! He is not a Patriot of America, nor any kind of hero! I’m a Veteran and will not watch any NFL or purchase Nike products ever again!
Absolutely will never buy Nike again! Kapernick is unamerican and an embarrassment to the NFL. He’s no role model!
I have bought / worn & used Nike products for as long as I can remember , that has come to a screeching halt as of the signing of this person. Am done with anything Nike
Yes, i have always been a die hard nike enthusiast but i refuse to support this man who is a disgrace to America. Good bye Nike!
Will be using my only pair to clean the animals pens..that all they are good for now.. well never buy another pair.
Yes!!! Just do sports. Stand up for our fallen heroes and kneel after you pay respect.
I’ve been a Nike fan since I was in high school back in the early 80’s. I took up running seven years ago and I prefer the way my feet feel wearing Nike. But, in light of the news of their choice of their 30th anniversary of the “Just Do It’ campaign, I’ll be ashamed to wear the Nike brand. I come from a long family history of veterans. How can I wear a product that promotes un-American gestures such as protesting ANYTHING during the National Anthem?! I’m against racism, too, but there is a time and a place for everything. Kneeling during the National Anthem is disrespectful and a disgrace!
Yes i am done with nike. I dont support any company that insults our veterans.
YES. Because he is un American.
No never Nike now is an un american brand there is no way I would support this miserable excuse for a person.
Never use again. Big blunder. Never too big to fail!!!
Goodbye Nike! I don’t get the slogan. That idiot didn’t sacrifice anything! He was pissed off because he’s a terrible football player and they didn’t want him anymore. And he had to blame it on something!
yes no more nike products in my home all my kids play sports not even a sock you are oppressors to your workers
