Cole Stanley Priorities

Amarillo’s new Mayor Cole Stanley has set up an aggressive but friendly agenda.

He’s pinpointing 4 items on his list of must-dos to move the city forward and they include public safety, infrastructure repair, repairing streets, and a general cleaning up of the city.

The new Mayor is also thinking about restructuring city council meetings, as to how they are run.

He wants to hear what the public is saying, take a full view of the subject matter, and do the best he can with the resources and information that’s at hand.

There are no staff changes planned, but Stanley feels the top-of-the-list priority is the city’s budget.
