Cole Stanley Gives a Statement About Mayor’s Supporting the Governors Gun Reform

On Wednesday, Amarillo Mayor Ginger Nelson announced support for Governor Abbott’s call for more gun control and red flag laws.

A follow-up release was written by Cole Stanley, expressing that this was outside the interests of the majority of the community. 

He gave a statement about what the red flag laws mean in correlation with the bill of rights.

He furthermore adds that the decision should not be made in haste but with careful consideration of the US Constitution.

The last thing he mentioned was thoughts on the current background check policy.
