Coffee Memorial Facing Blood Shortage

The roads aren’t the only thing being affected by the weather, as Coffee Memorial Blood Center says the snow led to appointment cancelations. 

The center says they usually have a 3-to-5-day supply of blood available but the storm canceled appointments as well as blood drives, leaving their supply dangerously low.

To help incentivize donations individuals that give blood on January 25th and 26th will receive their choice of a winter hat, gloves, or an ice scrapper, as well as an alien-themed “Save The Humans” t-shirt.
