CoA No Plans to close Amarillo Restaurants Or bars. 

Officials with the City of Amarillo say they currently have no plans to close any Amarillo area restaurants or bars. 

The City does ask businesses to follow the recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the White House.

Restaurants should consider arranging seating based on social distancing guidelines, focusing their business on drive-thru, pickup and delivery options to the extent possible, and make individual business decisions based on ensuring the health and safety of their patrons and employees.

There are no confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Amarillo area but they expect cases to arrive and are proactively working to coordinate the local response.
