Special Adoption Fees
The City of Amarillo Animal Management and Welfare Department is partnering with the Clear the Shelters initiative and taking part in the national pet adoption campaign.
Clear the Shelters gets underway August 10, and runs through September 30.
This is the 10th year for the national campaign, which last year, saw more than 1 million animals adopted across the country.
AAMW is providing special Clear the Shelters fees for August, with adoption fees for dogs just $25, and $5 for cats. Fees include spay and neuter, vaccinations, and microchipping.
