Clovis Man Arrested On Deadly Shooting Charges

Clovis police have arrested 31-year-old Victor Corral on an outstanding warrant for murder.
He’s being held at the Curry county jail.
Clovis police were called out at 3:06 September 21st, on a call that a man had been brought into the emergency room suffering from gunshot wounds.
The man $8-year-old Joseph Suniga later died from the wounds.
The crime scene was found in a Missouri Street home
A warrant was put out for Corral, and at 4:30 police learned about where he was hiding out.
A Clovis SWAT Team was called out to take Corral down, and once they arrived Corral gave himself up.
