Claudette Smith Seeking City’s “Top Job”

Claudette Smith is seeking the office of Mayor in the upcoming Amarillo Municipal Election.

We asked her why she is seeking public office.

Smith feels that the current council is spending money in the wrong places.

The candidate for mayor had not looked into how much it cost to repair or replace the 81-year-old pool but said it would be the first item she would address if elected.
