Claredon College Gets Broadband Money

Clarendon College will soon be getting federal money to provide for faster broadband and new video screens for the Pampa, Childress, and Shamrock campuses.

The school will be getting 670,423 dollars from the U.S Department of Agriculture. The school’s IT department says it’s time for an update.

The Pampa campus has not been updated since 2004, while the Childress hasn’t been updated in about ten years.

Clarendon College expects the system installed by next summer.
