City of Amarillo Thanksgiving Closures

In preparation for the holiday, the City of Amarillo will close its facilities for the day. Here are some of the closures:
- City Hall will be closed on Thanksgiving and Friday
- COA Solid Waste will close for Thanksgiving and Friday. Residential cart services for Thursday will be moved to Wednesday the 23rd. Friday routes will be on a regular schedule. All commercial services will be on the 25th. Brush sites will be closed on both Thursday and Friday. COA Landfill will reopen on Friday and Saturday at its regular hours.
- Amarillo City Transit will be closed for the holiday and will operate the Saturdays route on Friday,
- The Public Library will be closed on Thursday and Friday. Downtown and Southwest locations will be closing early on Wednesday the 23rd at 6 PM. The Downtown location will also be closed for repairs on the 28th and 29th.
- COA golf operations will be closed Thursday and will resume operations on Friday.
