The city of Amarillo’s curbside cart program officially rolls out today.  The 2,400 residents who are part of phase one of the program have had their carts, which are big enough to hold 95 gallons of trash, delivered.

Residents’ part of the transition will see their trash picked up on the same days as the regular schedule.  As the city dropped off carts, x’s were on the ground to mark their suggested location on pick-up days.
