City of Amarillo Offering Funds For Senior Citizen Programs

The City of Amarillo has announced the availability of funds for senior citizen programs.

The City Council designated $600,000 in funds from the American Rescue Plan Act for eligible services and programs serving senior citizens within the Amarillo community.

A meeting for potential applicants will take place Thursday, August 11th at the Parks and Recreation Department offices located at 509 South Johnson Street in Amarillo.

Applications are due to the City of Amarillo Purchasing Department by 4 pm on September 29th, and you can receive a copy by calling (806) 378-3028.
