City of Amarillo Holiday Schedule

The City of Amarillo has released a holiday schedule for the week of New Years Day.

City Hall will be closed on Friday, December 31st, with the Amarillo Public Health Department closed on New Years Eve and Covid 19 testing and Covid 19 report cards not available. The Covid 19 infusion Center will also be closed on News Year’s Day.

Route changes by the City’s Solid Waste Department will be as follows

Thursday routes will be taken up on Wednesday, Friday routes on Thursday. Residential routes will not run on December 31 or January 1st. All commercial routes will run on the Thursday before the holiday and on the following Monday.

Commercial routes, brush sites and the landfill will be closed on December 31 and January 1st.

All poly cart routes will be serviced will be serviced on Wednesday with Friday routes serviced on Thursday.

No poly cart routes will be run-on December 31st or January 1st.
