City of Amarillo Covid-19 Press Conference

Health Officials in the area came together to give an update on their latest hospitalization numbers.
Chief Medical Officer for Northwest Texas Hospital System Dr. Brian Weis said they currently have a child who is In the ICU.
Northwest has 25 Covid patients with 12 in the ICU. BSA has 35 patients with 16 in the ICU.
The number of hospitalizations in the region have continued to decrease recently with case numbers being some of the lowest they’ve seen in months.
