Child On Scooter Taken To Hospital with Non-Life-Threatening Injuries After Crash

A child has non-life-threatening injuries after a wreck between a car and scooter.
Just after 6:35 pm on Wednesday in the 7900 block of Mitcham Drive, a juvenile was riding an electric scooter and pulled out in front of a 2008 Honda Two Door Driven by a 60-year-old male.
The driver did not have time to stop and hit the juvenile who was taken to a local hospital.
The incident is being investigated by the Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Department.
