Celebrating 120 Years of Service

Amarillo is seeing some anniversaries in its community this year, as 120 years of combined service is being celebrated
The Amarillo Wesley community center turns 70 and Los Barrios de Amarillo is now 50.
With help from community volunteers, donors, and staff, the AWCC and LBdE have been able to overcome issues in social justice, education, poverty, mental health, and so much more.
They are celebrating their 120 years of service with a piñata, and launching new logos.
In a collaboration with the City of Amarillo, a display of history and culture for the organizations has been created.
