CDBG Application Deadline Extension

An extension has been granted by the City of Amarillo to submit applications from small businesses and non-profit organizations for the U.S Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Block Grant Program.

The new deadline is now set for no later than 6 pm on Sunday June 12th, with applications needing to be sent in online.

Applications will be reviewed, and documented with all recommendations being assessed by level of need and presented to the Community Development Advisory Committee.

From there, public meetings will take place to discuss final recommendations and allocation before approval from City Council.
