If you’re looking to pick up a new skill that can turn into a successful career, The Carpenters Local 665 is hosting a 2-week Carpenters entry course.
Running from April 18th through the 29th, this course will provide the fundamentals of carpentry and focus on the skills necessary to succeed in the carpentry field.
The course will cover math for the trade, OSHA 10 certifications, fall protection, CPR, and Mobile Elevated Work Platform training.
The course is taught by Carpenters International Training Center-certified instructors and will have opportunities to interview commercial construction contractors once the course ends.
Carpenter wages can start from $15 to $20 per hour.
