Canyon Fire Department Conducting Prescribed Burns

The Canyon Fire Department will be conducting a few prescribed burns today starting at 9:30 am.

First will be at the two roadside parks south of town on US87.

The second will be at the Southeast park around the lake area.

These burns shouldn’t put out too much smoke.
