Cactus Sports Complex

The City of Cactus is one step closer to opening its new multi-purpose sports complex.

The complex will include baseball/softball fields, two sand volleyball courts, a sepak takraw court, and canopies with green spaces and trees.

The total projected cost is one point five million dollars.

Texas Parks and Wildlife awarded a grant of $400,000 that JBS USA matched through its Hometown Strong initiative, with the remainder of the funds coming from the City.

Cactus City officials hope the new sports complex will bring more people into the community, especially the little league teams,

They’re hoping for complex completion by the end of June 2024.
