Bus Fares Returning As Pandemic Relief Subsides

Amarillo City Transit will resume collection on October 1st on city bus routes at pre-Covid-19 rates.
The service was made free for the past 2 years to assist in the hardship relief that the pandemic had caused, and to ensure less strain for reaching work and healthcare needs.
Single ride fares will be $1 and day passes are available for $2, and special rates can be done for those with a disability, seniors, and students.
