Buchanan Street Underpass Repair Project

The water main break in July that led to the Buchanan underpass between S.E. Second Avenue and N.W. First Avenue has created the need for repairs to that roadway.

The road and right-of-way to that section are owned by TxDOT while the City of Amarillo has a maintenance agreement with them for the roadway.

The cost of the repair project has yet to be determined, the project itself is expected to take 45 to 60 days, depending on the weather.
