BSA Health System Announces Michael Cruz as New CEO

The BSA Health System has named a new head officer.

Announced early Thursday, April 7th, Michael Cruz will follow the work of Bob Williams as BSA’s new Chief Executive Officer, the announcement being made after Williams retired last month after 13 years of holding the position, and 42 years in total with BSA.

Cruz, having a Masters degree in Business Administration, first joined in 2003 serving as the Vice President of Operations before being promoted to Chief Operating Officer.

As remarked by BSA’s Chief Medical Officer Michael Lamanteer, MD, “Michael has a deep understanding of BSA and its outstanding culture of caring.

He has spearheaded major growth strategies and played a pivotal role in BSA’s achievement of industry-leading employee engagement and customer service results. During his tenure as COO, the health system has seen significant growth in services and fiscal performance.”
