Brown Road Railroad Crossing Closed

The Brown Road railroad crossing has been closed by BNSF until further notice. Its been closed since a crash happened between a train and semi truck last August.

BNSF says the crossing is closed to vehicle traffic because an engineering evaluation has to be performed to design an approach in both directions, where Brown meets the railroad crossing

Brown Road is owned by both the City of Canyon and Randall County.

There is no opening date projected at this time.
