Boys Ranch Featured On Renowned Texas Programming

Coming up soon, tune in to “Texas Country Reporter” for a feature done on the rocketry program at Boys Ranch. 

The show was on location out in November and took a close look at the rockets, as well as the program head Barré Wheatley.

During their visit, they had a rocket launch set a new record, flying over 38,000 feet and reaching speeds of Mach 2.3.

Boys Ranch has regular rocket launches for their students and has to file for clearance with the Federal Aviation Administration regularly. 

The episode will air on March 20th at 11 AM and can be found on KVII Channel 7 and on RFD-TV.
