Borger High Speed Chase
Elizabeth Sharp has been arrested after a police chase that started in Borger and ended in Panhandle.
It all started at 2:44 a.m. after Sheriff Kemp tried to conduct a traffic stop on Highway 136 at the Borger Walmart. That’s when the chase was on.
Police reports say the speed reached 110 miles per hour going in the direction of Panhandle evading both the Hutchinson and Borger law enforcement on Highway.207.
The Carson County and Panhandle law enforcement joined the Sheriff’s office joined the chase, running the car down city streets at 80 miles per hour.
The car was taken out of commission after a pit maneuver was performed, spinning the car outT
The driver refused to come out of the car and was forcefully removed.
Hutchinson County Sheriff’s officials say a handgun and drug paraphernalia was found in Sharp’s vehicle.
She’s been charged with evading and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
Sharp has multiple felony charges, as well as numerous drug charges.
