Body Found At Lake Meredith

A person walking near the Stilling Basin at Lake Meredith came across the body of an adult male.
The discovery was made Wednesday morning according to Lake Meredith Superintendent Eric Smith. He said the deceased man, identified as an 18-year-old originally from Guatemala, was staying in Cactus, Texas.
Park and Hutchinson County officials along with the Justice of the peace, were able to recover the body without incident and it has been sent to Lubbock for an autopsy.
The investigation continues.
