Body Found at Hines Memorial Park

A female’s body was found dead in Hines Memorial Park in the 1400 block of Northwest 18 on Sunday, June 25th.

Police say the body was discovered at 9:06 am.

The family has been notified and an autopsy has been ordered.

Amarillo Homicide is investigating and says that some citizens have posted videos on social media and are circulating that include false information.

They’re asking that for the sake of the individuals involved that those postings be taken down and not shared.
