Behind Bars for not paying his Debt

A man has been arrested for cattle theft in Holbrook, Arizona. 

Jason Lenstrom attended the Rio Grand Classic Livestock Auction in El Paso, where he bought 162 head of cattle on January 19th and February 2nd, 

He asked to send money via check, and after checks bounced twice, the auctioneers reached out to him in hopes to settle up. 

After another few weeks without payments, the seller went to Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Associations Special Ranger Clay McKinney. 

Lenstrom was indicted on August 5th by an El Paso County grand jury and arrested on August 23rd.

Currently, his bail is set for $60,000 and faces four felony charges for theft of livestock.
