The Better Business Bureau hosted its 5th annual Student Video Contest, and four area high schools won top spots for their work.
Shamrock High School won 1st place for “That’s not my Car!”, Perryton High school came in second, and Shamrock, Silverton, and Panhandle received third through 5th respectively.
The videos were made as a way to teach and prepare students to be successful consumers.
Another aspect was to think of creative ways to market their custom videos, and Shamrock did this by creating a QR code that they would have others scan through the community.
All placing schools won prize money for their schools, and the top 2 teams won individual prizes as well.
